Beyond U-Hauls: How moving can empower your brand

Let’s face it: moving is a lot of work. Whether you’re moving into a new home or moving your company into a new office space, this life transition rarely happens without a serious effort form multiple people.

Moving locations can be especially challenging for businesses, but there is some good news: when you relocate your business, you get the chance to update your space to stay aligned with the message you want to portray about your company. Plus, with careful planning and thoughtful design, you can promote partnership and togetherness – two tenets we hold highly.

At Inspired Results, we’ve been through this transformational experience firsthand – read more about how we seized the opportunity to showcase our brand and strengthen relationships in the moving process!

Facing resistance and seeing value

In the planning stages, it’s easy to become overwhelmed with variables like cost, employee happiness, and client retention. Not to mention, questions and input from your team can fly faster than Maverick in Top Gun:

“Can we get overhead music piped in?”
“What about sit-and-stand desks?”
“What do you think about a nap station?”

It’s true that a big move can present opportunities for some enviable features. But it’s more important to remember that when you move, you are given the chance to design something completely new that is reflective of your brand and engaging for your employees.

From this perspective, a collaborative and enjoyable workplace can seriously pay off. According to a recent Gallup poll, higher workplace engagement leads to 37% lower absenteeism, 41% fewer safety incidents, and 41% fewer quality defects.

Explore our brand-worthy space

Earlier this year, we found ourselves in a great position for a transformational office change at Inspired Results. After bringing three companies together under one new brand, we were in great need of a new home. Instead of looking at this transition as a merely tactical move, we saw it as a way to create a space that represents Inspired Results and our brand story. After all, we spend our days executing our clients’ brands – why not use our own solutions to make our space fully reflective our core beliefs and brand?

We believe that inspiring our clients is our obligation, and that starts with inspiring our talented team. How did we manifest these beliefs?

  • Partnership is our mission statement, and it is now reflected in newly-designed work stations that allow for people to collaborate.
  • We believe in transparency and connection, so we incorporated glass in some key design elements in our office.
  • Inspiration is key to innovation, so we’ve included moments of inspiration throughout our office – from displaying our values and mission on our walls, to a hallway of images depicting key movements in history through our brand color, Coral Flash.

At Inspired Results, our call is to Lead the Brand Management Revolution. So, it’s only appropriate that our headquarters has taken on that theme!

The whole is greater than the sum of its parts

They say, “The devil is in the details.” But at Inspired Results, we believe the inspiration is in the details. In our work, in our relationships, and now in our new and improved office space – those small thoughtful elements are where greatness happens. Our employees deliver that to our clients every day, and we are thrilled to provide them an inspiring place to use their talents.
